FEBRUARY LUNCHEON PROGRAM
COLORADO’S VOLUNTARY CLEANUP PROGRAM

The February luncheon meeting hosted by the Colorado Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) will feature Mark Walker, Voluntary Cleanup Coordinator, of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to speak on Colorado’s Voluntary Cleanup Program. Mr. Walker has been involved with the state’s Voluntary Cleanup Program since its inception in 1994. Mark currently serves as a member of the Colorado Brownfields Foundation Advisory Board and ASTSWMO State Response Programs and Brownfields Task Force. Mark is a frequent speaker at local, state, and national conferences on Voluntary Cleanup process and Brownfields redevelopment.

When: Tuesday, February 15th from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. - Buffet Lunch provided.

Cost is $15 for SWANA members and $25 for non-members for advance registration. Add $10 for at the door ”walk-in” registration. CEU credit is available.

*NOTE: Glenn Mallory has decided to retire at the end of February 2005 from the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment. He has agreed to attend this meeting, and this would be a great opportunity for those who have worked with Glenn to thank him for his years of leadership of the Department’s solid waste program.
