Scholarship Applications Needed

The Colorado SWANA Chapter has still not received any applications for scholarships. The chapter is offering up to $1000.00 in scholarships. Again, the purpose of this program is to make dollars available for training sessions specific to the solid waste field. Please keep this in mind as the chapter has a training session which will satisfy the CDPHE’s regulatory requirements for landfill operations in July. The scholarship information was originally distributed during the first week in January of 2006, however is attached as part of this newsletter.
